Grant Masom
Grant Masom, 53, was appointed Non-Executive Chairman of TIS Software in 2003 and became Executive Chairman in September 2009.
Grant has 25 years experience within the technology sector, 20 years of which has been spent in senior management and board level positions.
As Chief Executive at Tricom Communications and GADC Networks, he achieved a major turnaround in performance culminating in the acquisition of both businesses by publicly quoted companies. He has worked with a number of companies as an independent director, securing significant capital investment and expanding their routes to market. He is chairman of Amino Technologies plc, and recently led their IPO on the AIM market. He is also chairman of Comunica Holdings plc and ePOINT Group Ltd, and a non-executive director of Phase One A/S. Grant has a first class degree in engineering from Cambridge University.
Mike Johns
Mike Johns, 38, joined TIS Software in January 2008 as Finance Director and became Director & General Manager in September 2009.
Mike has held senior management positions within the software industry for the last ten 10 years including Group Finance Director and member of the board of directors of SmartStream Technologies Group Limited, a market leading supplier of back office solutions to global banks and financial institutions. Most recently, Mike was Chief Financial Officer of Iris Financial Solutions Limited, a supplier of front and middle office systems to financial institutions.
Mike holds a BSC(Hons) degree in Physics from Birmingham University and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
Mike Creswell
Mike Creswell, 57, has held the position of Customer Services Director since 1996, and Operations Director since 2003.
He gained a BSc Honours degree from the University of London in 1972. With a background of hardware and software development from his early career in Canada he moved into project management and operational management. On return to the UK in 1990 he joined Team Systems, part of Misys plc, as Bespoke Software manager, and later became responsible for consultancy, training, and support until Team was merged with TIS Software in 1995.
Chris Thomason
Chris Thomason, 52, joined TIS Software in 2001 as Alliances Manager and now holds responsibility for all sales activity.
After gaining a BA Honours degree from Oxford Polytechnic and MSc in Operational Research from University of Sussex he took up a corporate planning role with British Gas. He joined James Martin Associates (JMA) in 1988 and undertook a variety of IT consultancy assignments, both in the UK and overseas. A move to sales followed the takeover of JMA by Texas Instruments Software in 1991, and in 1993 he was appointed sales manager for IT consultants Newell & Budge.
Further sales and sales management roles followed with Sterling Software and Onyx Software, where he held the posts of Strategic Alliances Director and Sales Director, prior to joining TIS Software.
Eric Vidal
Eric has held senior finance roles within the Retail, Hospitality and Software industries over the last 25 years in Continental Europe, the Caribbean, the Far East and the UK, including Group Financial Controller at Iris Financial Solutions Limited, a supplier of front and middle office products and solutions to major financial institutions.
Eric holds a Master of Business Administration from the London Business School, a Hospitality Management degree from Paris, France, and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management accountants.
Brendan Crawford
Brendan Crawford, 51, joined in February 2008 as Development Projects Manager and undertook the role of Development Manager covering all TIS products, in April 2009.
His career in IT spans over 30 years, initially in Operations and subsequently in Software Development. He has held senior technical and management roles in the development of applications software for sectors as diverse as the legal profession, the aircraft industry, accountants in practice, various Government departments and NATO. Most of this experience was gained in a 22 year tenure as a consultant software designer and developer and then Development Manager at Iris Software, where he ultimately held the role of Director of Information Services.
Steve McNulty
Steve McNulty joined TIS Software in 1998 as a Programme Manager before becoming the Professional Services Manager. After a 6 year break, he rejoined TIS again in 2008 as Professional Services Manager.
His career in General Management, Services Management, Business Consultancy and Programme/Project management encompassed many different industry types and processes. Starting in production control and quickly graduating into systems development and management. Formally retrained in IT, initially focusing on systems analysis and then utilising a wealth of commercial management experience to develop a consultancy focus. In previous roles Steve has worked as a freelance project manager and Business Consultant providing services to major organisations such as Ericsson, Thorn EMI, Volvo, and Caterpillar.
Tony Pey
Tony Pey, 46, began his career within accounting and has held a number of finance roles, including Chief Accountant at BOS Software Ltd.
His career in IT spans over 20 years and he has held positions within sales, as a Key Account Manager and within marketing, where he has had responsibility for the management of consultant and partner relationship programs. In 1999, he was appointed to the role of Product Manager.
