As a software company the impact that SmartPoint Technologies Limited (“SmartPoint”) has on the environment from its own operations is relatively low when compared to companies in other industries. However SmartPoint recognises that it still has a role to play in reducing the impact that global business has on the environment. Through partnership with its employees, suppliers and customers SmartPoint aims to continually find ways of reducing its own impact upon the environment and also to reduce the ecological impact of its customers through software innovation and improved efficiency.

SmartPoint is committed to the continual development of its products, helping its customers to operate their businesses more efficiently and enabling them to reduce their use of scarce resources and minimise waste.

Reducing the impact SmartPoint has on the environment

SmartPoint aims to reduce its impact on the environment each day and hopes to achieve this by:

• Monitoring the level of water and energy used along with the waste produced by the business
• Where appropriate targeting:
  • a reduction in the use of water and energy
  • a reduction in waste along with an increase the amount of waste that is recycled or reused
• Increasing the awareness and engagement of employees and suppliers to environmental issues
• Undertaking to act in a responsible manner through sustainable practices designed to ensure the health and safety of SmartPoint’s employees, stakeholders and the environment
• Operating its business with integrity and in compliance of environmental laws and regulations.
